Use Of Gathering Logo and Theme

Terms and Conditions of Use (Affirmed by the Gathering Steering Committee 2/23/2002)

The logo and theme of the National LCMS Youth Gathering, including those of previously held Gatherings, are and shall remain the property of the Youth Ministry Office, Board for District and Congregational Services of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The NYG/YMO reserves the right to say no to use of the logo that could damage the integrity of the Gathering or youth ministry in the LCMS. Ordinarily, the logo and theme may be used by LCMS districts and congregational youth ministry programs for the promotion of the Gathering and youth ministry. It must be used to promote and support youth ministry. It may be used on products to help young people raise funds to get to the Gathering. It may not be used for profit by any individuals or groups apart from congregational youth ministry. Incentive salespersons shall not ordinarily be permitted to use the logo and theme to create a catalogue of product to promote to congregations as fund-raising products without the expressed permission of the LCMS Youth Ministry Office. Special requests for use of the logo/theme shall be directed to the NYG Communications Director.
